Friday, August 22
I met a woman named Tracy for the first time Friday; she was a little confused when, in an e-mail, I mentioned the office I work in. She thought I worked in her division (Lisa does). I give points to her for realizing that I was actually not Lisa when she met me in person!

I think a guy named Alex called me Lisa as I was leaving his meeting. As I was walking out, he said "Thanks Lisa", I think, but it was sorta quiet and trailed off a little at the end. He should know better, since he's actually traveled with Lisa.

Thursday, August 14
Today someone fairly high up in our organization, Marcus, mixed me up with Lisa. He actually planned to invite Lisa to be on a working group, but while picturing her thought of my name and consequently sent the meeting invitation to me. Ultimately, he decided I would do (although obvs. not his first choice).

First Post
People have been mistaking me for Lisa pretty much since I started working at my current job, almost 3 years ago. I will admit that there are some similarities between me and Lisa. We're both:
A) blond (hers natural, mine not so much)
B) the same age
C) engineers (she structural, me civil)
We even worked in the same office for a little over a year, although now we're just in the same building. But unless all young caucasian blond women look the same to you, we're pretty easy to tell apart. I even help out by wearing glasses most days. It probably doesn't help that people always see us together. But I guess if people are going to perpetually confuse me for someone else (identity-crisis inducing though that may be), I'm glad it's Lisa.
