Friday, September 26: Not quite an IANLWI

Since I started this blog, I have to admit I almost seek out IANLWIs (I Am Not Lisa Walkup Incidents). On Tuesday, someone asked me if I sit near Eric, who works on Lisa's floor. "Ah ha!" thought I, "He thinks I'm Lisa!" When I said no, he said, "Oh, I was thinking of Steven, not Eric" (who works on my floor). So close! Or he really did confuse us and was covering his tracks, because these two guys look nothing alike and their names are not at all similar. I think I'm starting to get paranoid.

Further evidence of paranoia: Today I was checking in at the travel clinic (gotta get my pills 'gainst mosquito death) and the desk clerk asked if I had an appointment. Then she said, "Are you Lisa, or Stephanie?" Ok, so that wasn't a true IANLWI either, but I did skip a beat, wondering how this complete stranger might mix us up!
