End of an Era

Sadly, I am Not Lisa Walkup is about to lose its source of content: Lisa. She's moving to a new assignment and won't be around to be confused with me anymore. I expect I won't get called Lisa too much after she leaves. Unless only seeing one of us around the building confirms in people's minds that we really were just one person after all....

Sometime Last Week

Lisa actually got called Stephanie last week! An interior designer saw her in the hall and said "Hi Stephanie!" A few days later, Lisa and I were together when he walked by and said hi. I wonder if it confused him, seeing two of me standing there?

Tuesday, February 17

Our landscape architect, Alain, asked me what I'd do with my motorcycle when I went overseas. I didn't really get the question, but felt the need to respond and said, "Sell it, I guess!" Then I realized he was attributing Lisa's motorcycle ownership to me. This doesn't count as a true IANLWI, since there was no real identity confusion, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Plus, I must have some additional street cred with Alain, since he thinks I own a motorcycle!

PS--just in case Lisa's parents Google her name and find this, Lisa doesn't own the motorcycle anymore! No worrying!
